![]() Thx again for all your help and suggestions. LITTLE ADDITION: I also tested the Blackmagic with all other NLEs (DaVinci, Premiere, Final Cut) and had no issues with it. Problem still exists and I haven't found any threads on the Avid or Blackmagic forums adressing this issue. New User settings, fresh projects, Alt-starting, clean installs with version 2021.4, installing multiple version of Blackmagics Video Desktop Setup, order of installations from Avid and Blackmagic, etc. I read that IO Hardware was causing trouble in several cases and I tested about everything the web has to offer. Nothing worked, as soon as I clicked somewhere in a timeline or bin the end has come. But as soon as I connected my Blackmagic Ultrastudio 4K which is essential to my setup working with clients Avid started to crash, freeze and beachball all the time. So I installed the newest Media Composer version (2022.4) and the software seemed to work just fine. But as it is the only solid option right now to buy, I made the move. I had to update my workplace last month and was a little worried about switching to Apple Silicone.
